Was born 1918 in Rostov-on-Don. Studied in art studio of town Shachty from 1929.
1939 – 1948 studied at Rostov-on-Don Art College (study interrupted by World War II)
1948 – 1954 study at Repin Institute under M. Avilov. Since 1945 he has taken part in art exhibitions.1955 – All-Union Art Exhibition, 1960 ,1965, 1967,1975 Soviet Russia in Moscow,1964,1965,1970, 1971,1972,1985 zonal Exhibition in Leningrad,1972-1973 Moscow,1980 one-man show in Moscow, 1980-1981 one-man show in Lipetsk, Tula, Belgorod, Orel, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Ulyanovsk, Smolensk, Samara, Tver, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Archangelsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Izhevsk.
Since 1950ies lived and worked in the village Kisharino near Academic Dacha, Tver region. Leading plein-air realist together with Yuri P. Kugach 1950s-1960s, one of the group of painters active at the Academic Dacha.
